The Feldenkrais method is a holistic, open learning process which focuses on the mindful and conscious perception of one’s own movement.
You can learn to discover adverse and malfunctioning habits and behavior patterns and to improve and reshape them via a creative learning process.
The possible areas of application are many. The focus is on empowering one to choose appropriate action and develop one’s potential.
In the Feldenkrais Method you will experience and explore two means of “Functional Integration”: individually in non-verbal dialog through mindful touch between teacher and student, and in the group through verbally guided, selected movement sequences “Awareness through Movement”.
The method is named after its founder, the physicist, engineer and judo master Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais (1904-1984), and is now internationally recognized.
